By one month from the event date, the Organizing Committee will have rounded
up 100-plus enthusiastic supporters as volunteers to work before, during,
and after this big event. What do the volunteers do? From stage managing at
the pods to driving people and products around Camp Zoe to peddling the
public relations machine to cleaing up the camp grounds to general
work…volunteers are asked to contribute a minimum of one five hour shift per
day, or as much as arriving on Monday and help set up the event, to staying
after the event and help tear down Garage Stock 2005. Others offer to work
months in advance with public relations and marketing the event. Although we
rely heavily on local volunteers, we look forward to meeting supporters from
all around the country who travel to these events just because. We love
those little song writer voices in your head, and we encourage you to listen
to them.
We look forward to meeting each of you and thank you in advance for the many
hours you will contribute to this first year national event.
